Installation Order: 1
Notes: This patch is a Product Identifier (ID) patch, designed to add a unique identifier into the Fiery system. Once the Product ID patch is successfully installed, the Fiery System will be compatible with future "Smart" patches.

After installation, the Product ID patch will appear on the Fiery Configuration sheet in the "Installed updates" section or on the System Updates Log. The name will be displayed simply as "ProdID".

This Product ID patch will serve as a prerequisite to all future smart patches. If the Product ID patch is not installed, all subsequent Smart patches will not install. For more information regarding this patch, please contact your support representative.

Patch Installation Instructions:
1. Using Command Workstation, import the patch file ProdID.ps to the "Direct" queue of the Fiery server.
2. Allow approximately 40 secs and/or when the file is done processing after the patch file is imported before rebooting the system. This will ensure the patch file is completely processed.
3. From either Command Workstation or the Fiery LCD, select "Shut Down" and then "Reboot System"
4. When the Fiery has come to Idle, verify the patch ID on the Configuration Page/System Update Log.
5. It should contain the patch name "ProdID".
